On Friday, May 27, the theatre performed their play ”Drinking for Dummies” at the auditorium of our college. Several classes had been invited to join one of the two shows. Afterwards the students had the opportunity to ask questions.
The White Horse Theatre is a pedagogical theatre with actors from Great Britain. It tours all over Europe and performs their plays in English. The repertoire includes a wide range of plays from simple to classical plays like Shakespeare's.
“Drinking for dummies” is a simple story about the danger of alcohol abuse. The message was quite clear, and it was very nice listening to the English language and enjoying the play and the actors’ art of improvisation. Four actors, eight scenes and only little equipment on stage brought quite a lot of fun to the audience.
